Hear It From Me

I was born in Xi'an, China, and moved to Canada with my parents in 2003. I came as a single child but now have two younger brothers. 

I am multilingual, native in mandarin (I was sent back to China to finish primary school) & English (pretty much since I studied here since grade 7). I also know some Korean & Japanese and am starting to learn some Spanish. Learning new cultures has always been my passion!

I love performing arts! Music & dance are my passions. I played the violin for over a decade & studied teaching fine arts specifically in music at University. 

I had the opportunity 3 years ago to join a Financial Broker firm and I'm excited where this career is taking me. (I even went back to college to study compliance but meh, working hands-on is much more enjoyable)

Almost forgot to mention, I'm also passionate about traveling & food!

My main goal with this blog is to journal down all the experiences and views I see through this thing called Life. I'm so grateful to be alive! The satisfaction, disappointments, ups & downs are all valuable things that happen for us. A girl growing in faith. I would like to record reviews of books, music, movies, inspirations on this platform and sometimes share tips in different areas to help others to live a productive life.

I also want to encourage myself and know that no one is alone in this journey and I'm rooting for you!
